Participation: 5 \u20ac<\/strong><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In this workshop, Egyptian choreographer Hazem Header will teach several contemporary dance and physical theater frameworks for improvisation<\/strong> and participants will come away with a robust set of exercises, games, and scores to create their own choreography and performances<\/strong>. <\/span>The workshop will consist of several approaches to choreography and creational methods for contemporary dance, physical theater, and \u201cEgyptian-izing\u201d your creative impulses<\/strong>. <\/span>This all-levels workshop is appropriate for professional dancers and movers from all artistic backgrounds as well as dance and theater enthusiasts seeking to learn more about contemporary dance and physical theater for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hazem Header <\/b>is an Egyptian contemporary dancer and choreographer. With a BA of Physical education, studies of Personal training, Biomechanics and Kinesiology and a long career as a personal trainer and volleyball coach, Hazem studied dance at the governmental center \u201cCairo Contemporary Dance Center (CCDC)\u201d at Cairo Opera House. There he gained experience in choreography. In 2013 Hazem founded N\u00dcT Dance Company\u2019 (NDC). With NDC, Hazem has produced over 100 cultural events and performances since 2013 to this date that have been presented in Egypt, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Italy, Rwanda, Tunisia and Sri Lanka. From 2018 till 2020; he conducted lessons of Theater and Contemporary Dance at Cairo University\u2019s creative center. In 2017 Hazem founded \u201cBreaking Walls Festival\u201d to be the first international festival for site specific performances in Cairo.\u00a0 In 2021 Hazem created \u201cBreaking Walls Dance Film Festival\u201d to be the first festival of Dance Films in Egypt and in the region.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]
