Zvukospjevi

Zvukospjevi su Ivan Slipčević – filmski i sound umjetnik, Nicole Hewitt – vizualna umjetnica i Vida Guzmić – vizualna umjetnica, svo troje članovi Studija Pangolin. Projekt koristi terenske snimke, elektronsku glazbu, video i filmske arhive, uz autorske tekstove Nicole Hewitt.

The walker

The City of Osijek is trying to present the statue of The Walker as one of the tourist representatives of Osijek and make it recognizable beyond the city and even the state borders as a kind of branding of the city. The Walker is positioned on the Square of Liberty in Osijek (the former Liberation Square), fand was set up in 1974 when it was the first street sculpture in Croatia and one of the first in this part of Europe. Shortly thereafter, the inhabitants of Osijek gave the bronze sculpture the nickname Walker; and under the auspices of that nickname, a monument is known outside the city limits of Osijek. The srtist uses the figure of a well-known sculptures to symbolize the city and its citizens, because what’s most remarkable for every city are its people, and they are leaving. If there are no humans, neither cultural heritage, protests nor local disagreement are relevant, because people are the culture.

Nebojša Vuković finished the School for Textile, Design and Applied Art – Graphic Department in Osijek. He graduated in 2011 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, at the Graphic Department under mentorship of Robert Šimrak. He received Ceepus Scholarship in 2007 and studied for a year at Interfaculty Department of Intermedia AFA, Krakow, Poland. He is a member of the professional associations of HDLU and ZUH and of the Film Clubs Association Klubvizija SC and Blank. He is the co-founder of the artistic organization Format_C.
