We are pleased to present the programme of this year’s edition of the Sounded Bodies Festival, taking place from 1 to 3 October 2026 at the Zagreb Dance Center. Through a range of performance practices, the festival explores the relationships between body, movement, voice and sound, bringing together artists who approach sound and movement as interconnected performative materials and use them to explore the body, space, emotions and ways of acting and creating together.
This year’s programme brings together three distinct artistic approaches – from explorations of voice and song, through reflections on systems of care, to an improvisational encounter between dance and music. Each work explores, in its own way, the possibilities of bringing sound and the body into dialogue, inviting audiences to experience different forms of performance.
