Are you a member of the LGTBIQ+ community interested in sharing your stories and being part of a unique performance?
We invite you to participate in the creation of “INFINITE ARCHIVE #1 Irrefrenable,” directed by the Argentine director, Gonzalo Quintana. This event will take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb in September 2024.
“INFINITE ARCHIVE #1 Irrefrenable” is a performative and multidisciplinary work that seeks to highlight the real stories and experiences of the local LGTBIQ+ community. This dynamic project, produced by Domino and directed by Gonzalo Quintana, will begin its journey in Croatia and aims to connect with LGTBIQ+ communities worldwide. It blends documentary creation with live performance, inviting the audience to engage in the creative process through speaking, listening, recording, observing, and other interactive activities. Through this experience, we strive to document and celebrate the richness of diverse lives and stories, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our shared humanity.
The first part involves research with the local community, focusing on life stories and their motivation for participating in the project: everyday life, the world around them, their relationship with art, and who they look up to. All materials will (after confirmation with participants) be used in the performance. The performance is designed to explore and reflect on diverse experiences with the goal of creating a living archive that can evolve and grow.
We Are Looking For performers, dancers, actors/actresses, musicians. Individuals from the trans community, regardless of performing experience are particularly encouraged to participate
If you want to share your story and contribute to this project, please contact us at domino.artprojekt@gmail.com to receive more information and apply for participation.
Application is from 12th of June until 10th of July. Participation will be during July, August and September and specific dates will be arranged with the artist himself.
Join us in creating an evolving archive of diverse human experiences and help us kickstart a global dialogue within the LGTBIQ+ community.
