The Free Palestine Initiative brings the flavors of the Palestinian and Sudanese resistance in the form of fellowship over breakfast in Queer Zagreb. Falafel in Arabic bread, manakish cakes with zata’ra and other delicious meze, will gather us around a common table – not only to feed our tummies, but also to weave an alliance and a practice of solidarity with the movements for the freedom of Palestine, Sudan and other places exposed to extreme violence. The food we will taste will be a meeting place and get to know the traditions of Palestine and Sudan.
