Queer Zagreb 2025 is inviting you to take part in a new international theatre project driven by compassionate truth telling and interdisciplinary expressions of Queer Power in response to the project title THIS IS WHO I AM.

This Is Who I Am is an interdisciplinary theatre project featuring autobiographic monologues by the local queer community from Zagreb that brings together personal stories to uncover social histories which might otherwise go untold or unacknowledged.

Created by award-winning theatre maker Jeremy Goldstein and directed in collaboration with theatre director Gonzalo Quintana, this special edition of the work for Queer Zagreb features striking portrait photography by Sanjin Kaštelan. In this iteration, participants’ monologues are interwoven with their portraits to form an exploration of Queer Power, through resilience, tenderness, and presence from individuals based in Zagreb.

To take part, tell us who you are in 100-words or less and send your submission to

udrugadomino.marketing@gmail.com by Friday 2nd May.

Selected submissions will be expanded into short performative works or monologues of up to 500-words each and presented as an ensemble work-in-progress as part of this year’s Queer Zagreb.

Participants taking part need to be available 24/5 – 29/5 and will be paid a fee of 350 bruto

His latest work, Infinite Archive #1 UNSTOPPABLE, made with Croatian artists, is a scenic reconstruction of real stories from the LGBTQI+ community. It premiered at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, and it is the first queer documentary work in the country. The project explores the multifaceted nature of the identities of six queer artists through a combination of performance and exhibition. Quintana also participated in an artistic residency in the city of Naples, where he investigated a documentary installation project about the soccer star Diego Armando Maradona and the link with the city that considers him a god. Quintana currently resides in Zagreb, Croatia, where he continues to work with Domino Project on his artistic projects: All my bodies and simultaneous fierce.
