Plesni projekt u nastajanju radnog naziva “Kata Strofa” bavi se performativnim i koreografskim potencijalom digitalnih komunikacijskih tehnologija, s fokusom na fenomen preopterećenosti informacijama i beskonačnost interpretacije. Cilj rada jest stvoriti zvučno okruženje (soundscape) u kojem se virtualna informacija prevodi kroz pokret, tijelo, glas i tekst te u kojem je moguće nanovo zamisliti herojsku poziciju osobe u modernom svijetu. Bilosnić razvija projekt u bliskoj suradnji s dramaturginjom Nikolinom Rafaj te vizualnim umjetnikom i dizajnerom zvuka Davorom Sanvincentijem.
Nakon prezentacije rada-u-nastajanju, u Maloj dvorani Jedinstva održat će se i neformalni razgovor s autoricom.
Projekt je nastao u okviru festivala Perforacije u suradnji sa festivalima Mladi Levi iz Slovenije i Festivalom Sola iz Srbije. Matea je jedna od 43 umjetnice/ka koji su kroz festivalsku suradnju dobili podršku EFFEA-e (European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists) za rezidencijalni boravak i predstavljanje rada u nastajanju na internacionalnoj razini.

Matea Bilosnić (Zadar, Hrvatska) je koreografkinja, plesačica i multimedijska umjetnica. Plesno obrazovanje započinje u Zadarskom plesnom ansamblu u Hrvatskoj, s kojim i danas surađuje kao koreografkinja, izvođačica, snimateljica i organizatorica. Radi kao izvođačica u plesnoj kompaniji En Knap Group, Slovenija (2017.-2019.) gdje surađuje s Josephom Nadjom, Kathleen Fischer (Trisha Brown dance company), Guy Nader & Maria Campos. Sa Zadarskim plesnim ansamblom radi predstavu Gozd-danse macabre (2019.) za koju osvaja Nagradu hrvatskog glumišta u kategoriji najbolje koreografije 2020. godine. Iste godine radi solo predstavu Klown za koju je kreirala glazbu, koreografiju i tekst. Njezina najnovija predstava Melusine (2022.) trenutno je na turneji. Osim kazališta i plesa, Mateu zanima glazbena i video produkcija.
Rezidencija je ostvarena u suradnji s Pogonom – Zagrebačkim centrom za nezavisnu kulturu i mlade.
Razvitak novog plesnog projekta Matee Bilosnić podržava European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists – EFFEA, koji sufinancira Europska unija.

CATA STROPHE
The work in progress with the working title “Kata Strofa” (eng. Cata Strophe) deals with the performative and choreographic potential of digital communication technologies, with a focus on the phenomenon of information overload and the infinity of interpretation. The goal of the work is to create a soundscape in which virtual information is translated through movement, body, voice and text, and in which it is possible to reimagine the heroic position of a person in the modern world. Bilosnić is developing the project in close collaboration with the playwright Nikolina Rafaj and visual artist and sound designer Davor Sanvincenti.
The project was created as part of the Perforations Festival in collaboration with the festivals Mladi Levi from Slovenia and the Sola Festival from Serbia. Matea is one of 43 artists who, through festival cooperation, received support from EFFEA (European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists) for a residency and presentation of work in progress at the international level.

Matea Bilosnić (Zadar, Croatia) is a choreographer, dancer and multimedia artist. She began her dance education in the Zadar Dance Ensemble in Croatia, with which she still collaborates today as a choreographer, performer, videographer and organizer. She works as a performer in the dance company En Knap Group, Slovenia (2017-2019) where she collaborates with Joseph Nadja, Kathleen Fischer (Trisha Brown dance company), Guy Nader & Maria Campos. With the Zadar Dance Ensemble, she performs the play Gozd-danse macabre (2019), for which she won the Croatian Theater Award in the category of best choreography in 2020. In the same year, she did a solo performance called Klown, for which she created the music, choreography and lyrics. Her latest play Melusine (2022) is currently on tour. In addition to theater and dance, Matea is interested in music and video production.
The residency was realized in cooperation with Pogon – the Zagreb Center for Independent Culture and Youth.
