SANJIN KAŠTELAN is a Croatian photographer known for his documentary-style approach that emphasizes authenticity and emotional depth. He has taken part in various projects and exhibitions. In a campaign for the natural mineral water brand Kala, he portrayed individuals with inspiring life stories, highlighting their “quiet strength”. He was also one of the photographers featured in the exhibition “We Are Here” (Tu smo) on Zagreb’s Cvjetni Square, which promoted inclusion and awareness through portraits of people with disabilities. His work was also shown at the Modro Gallery in Zagreb in 2023. In interviews, Kaštelan has said that his passion for photography stems from a desire to “revive a happy moment,” and that for him, photography is not just a technical skill, but a way of expressing emotion and capturing the beauty of everyday life.
