The 22nd Queer Zagreb Season marks the May in Zagreb with a diverse performance program dedicated to queer within the Arab culture and community. Festival program from 15 to 18 May 2024 brings together the following artists: Ali Chahrour (Lebanon), Arijana Lekić-Fridrih (Croatia), Boris Vrdoljak (Croatia), Zouz Al-Mahdi (Kuwait), Mounir Samuel (Netherlands / Egypt), Farzaneh Soori Ghiasvand (Iran), Hazem Header (Egypt), Ben Grinberg (USA) and members of the Free Palestine Initiative (Sudan, Palestine). Intimacy and love, the question of belonging, gender division and transition, anthropology of language, food, tradition and modernity are just some of the topics that Queer Zagreb opens up, continuing its mission to reduce stereotypes and prejudices in the broad context of queer.

22nd Queer Zagreb Season,15 – 18 May 2024, brings together in Zagreb the authors from Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Palestine, the USA, Sudan and Croatia.
Domino is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit organization based in Zagreb. Its aim is to question traditional norms and work towards the transformation of oppressive norms in transitional society through culture, media, public policies, education, and collaboration with domestic and international organizations.
We present several exhibitions / visual arts programs per year. One of the major is “The Traces of Others” project that we are conducting in 2023 and 2024.
QueerMoments is the longest, continuously running queer film program in continental Europe. Films are shown monthly in Urania movie theater.
The Perforations Festival presents innovative approaches to performance, theater and dance and encourages independent authorship on the local scene.
Through various artistic fields, the Queer Zagreb season questions the aesthetic and social norms of the transitional society.
Sounded Bodies festival presents performative works of Croatian and regional artists that research possibilities of choreography and performative art forms in regards with the relation between the sound (voice) and movement (body).
Night of Performances gathers artists who work interdisciplinary on the boundaries of common practices, more often in forms of performance art, installations, site-specific works.
Domino conducts a continuing research on the history of political performance in Croatia from the 1970s to the present day.
