The 22nd Queer Zagreb Season marks the May in Zagreb with a diverse performance program dedicated to queer within the Arab culture and community. Festival program from 15 to 18 May 2024 brings together the following artists: Ali Chahrour (Lebanon), Arijana Lekić-Fridrih (Croatia), Boris Vrdoljak (Croatia), Zouz Al-Mahdi (Kuwait), Mounir Samuel (Netherlands / Egypt), Farzaneh Soori Ghiasvand (Iran), Hazem Header (Egypt), Ben Grinberg (USA) and members of the Free Palestine Initiative(Sudan, Palestine). Intimacy and love, the question of belonging, gender division and transition, anthropology of language, food, tradition and modernity are just some of the topics that Queer Zagreb opens up, continuing its mission to reduce stereotypes and prejudices in the broad context of queer.
